I had a few people ask how I do cretain things so I decided to post this progress - plus im not sure when ill get back to finishing this -

I based this off the trailers that came out for the game where he everthing was in white sand

Any who its a scene with the master chief takiing on a huge fleet of covenants

- As shown I usually sketh out what i want start rougly and add in some basic colors -

-I think the hardest part is setting up a general color scheme that works

- Another thing i tend to develop early on is what I want to focus on in this case its the chief - So ill try to make everything in the background with cool colors to push them back

- I dont do any effects or particles and leave all of that towards the end cause its all about composition, form and source of lights right now

Also I used reference for the vehicles and the chief's suit but I aalways tend to play around when im doing fanart just to make it my own -

- I have a general idea of the direction I want to take this in and believe me I doubt the end result will look anything like this (not sure if I should make it on earth or on halo), but its a start -
